I don't have a very interesting life, so here are the most important facts about me:
Programming I like to program
C++,
Python and had a lot of fun playing with
Erlang. There are great libraries, that are fun to work with and make your life easy like
NumPy or
OpenCV, you might want to give them a try.
Coffee How did my
Zivildienst influence my daily life? By fueling my veins with tasty coffee ever since! I recently switched from whole beans to ground coffee to Nescafé, because Nescafé has the optimal time-to-coffee ratio. This includes pre-coffee time for preparing it and post-coffee time for cleaning up the whole thing.
Music I made two friends in two years on
last.fm, which tells you something about my music taste. My achievements there, before I decided to bury the account
1), can be summarized as being the Top Listener of a 12+ minute jam
Hendrix' jam and an
unreleased Elliott Smith song (there's an electric version over at
archive.org). I swear they weren't on repeat for three consecutive weeks, but it comes close. A great record only few people know about is the last album Hendrix authorized himself, a live record called
Band Of Gypsys. There's a great archive of
Elliott Smith live performances at
archive.org, the best show is probably
this one. I also listen to a lot of
Otis Redding and
Michael Jackson stuff… Great music!
